Crystal Palace have announced Oliver Glasner as former boss Roy Hodson’s successor.
Following the news of former mananager, Roy Hodgson stepping down, the Eagles have appointed Ex-Frankfurt headcoach, Oliver Glasner to take charge of the club.
Glasner takes over Palace
The 49-year-old has committed to managing Palace until the end of the 2025-2026 season
Glasner said: “I am very happy to join Crystal Palace as manager. I am looking forward to working with the talented squad, meeting the club’s supporters and experiencing the Selhurst Park atmosphere I have heard so much about.
“It has been a pleasure to meet with Steve (Parish) and Dougie (Freedman), and I am looking forward to working with them to achieve our goals.” as reported by the Athletic
Glasner, who was headcoach of Frankfurt spanning between 2021 and 2023, won the Europa league title in his first season.
In his second season he took the club past the UEFA champions league group stage losing to Napoli in the round of 16.
According to Fabrizio Romano on X, “Glasner will be in attendance tonight and he will be ready for first training session on Tuesday, as expected”

Crystal Palace are set to face Everton at Goodison Park tonight and would be looking to impress the new manager before he takes over.
The Austrian-born manager is likely to be in charge of the Eagles’ home game against Burnley on Saturday.
