Thomas Tuchel’s relationship with Joshua Kimmich worsens.

Bayern Munich, typically considered Bundesliga favorites, face a challenging season as they currently trail Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen by eight points. The recent performance suggests a struggle to close the gap, and it appears the usual dominance in the league might be more challenging to maintain this season.

The pressure on Thomas Tuchel has intensified, not only from fans and Bayern hierarchy but also from Joshua Kimmich, a key player and occasional captain. Kimmich is reportedly ‘extremely annoyed’ with Tuchel after being benched against Leverkusen according to reports from BILD

Following the defeat against Bochum, Kimmich is said to have ‘attacked’ Tuchel’s assistant Zsolt Löw, further indicating tensions within the team. The strained relationship between the manager and one of the star players adds to the challenges Bayern Munich is currently facing.

Reports suggesting a ‘cracked’ relationship of trust between Joshua Kimmich and Thomas Tuchel raise speculation about the midfielder’s future. The possibility of Kimmich seeking a way out in the summer is mentioned if the situation with Tuchel doesn’t improve with Liverpool lurking around for his signature. Such developments could impact Bayern Munich’s stability and add uncertainty to their squad dynamics.
