As a result, the French attacker is expected to leave the club as a free agent. Galetti reports that Martial’s injury woes have contributed to him not being in manager Erik ten Hag’s future plans for the team.
In the previous month, Anthony Martial faced a setback as he was sidelined for a minimum of 10 weeks following groin surgery.
The ongoing 2023-24 campaign has been marked by disappointment for the French player, who has featured in 19 matches across all competitions but has spent only 629 minutes on the pitch. During this time, Martial managed to score twice and provide two assists.
