Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino, in a press conference last Thursday, revealed the devastating effect his team’s draw against Brentford had on him.

Pochettino’s disappointment: Draw with Brentford felt like a loss

The coach was asked how he felt after the draw with Brentford in the last game. He expressed how unhappy he was after the game, stating that he canceled dinner plans with his wife because the draw felt like a defeat to him.
“Saturday, after the Brentford game, the draw was like a loss. “It killed my wife because I cancelled our dinner. I said I don’t want to go for a dinner, I wanted to stay at home,”, he explained.

“I was lucky because my coaching staff was with me then. We finished the day watching Real Madrid versus Valencia, had more wine, but nothing excitement. Only watching more football.

“Last few days I was watching all the games. I was not only watching the Champions League and the Championship. I was also watching the Asian Champions League — Al Hilal-Al Ittihad, Al Ain-Al Nassr. I was watching different games.

“The responsibility is to win and provide good feelings to the fans. You feel the responsibility when things are not so good.”, the Chelsea boss added, according to One Football.
Chelsea will face Newcastle at home in the English Premier League this night. They will be hoping to bounce back with a win, putting their recent woes behind them.
