Mikel Obi’s wish might have looked surprising to fans owing to the fact that he is a Chelsea legend and there has been an age-long rivalry of superiority between his club and fellow London club Arsenal.
Arsenal, being one of the few big teams with a rich football heritage and having the UCL trophy missing in their cabinet, have been subjected to trolls from opposition fans to this effect. The former Chelsea midfielder’s choice means he wishes Arsenal would be closer to winning the long-covetted trophy, leaving opposition fans, including his fellow Blues fans, with no banter material on the Gunners regarding UCL trophies.
