Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo has reached a milestone record of 50 goals for Al-Nassr with a well-composed finish from the penalty spot against Al-Ahli to end his club’s winless run of games, as per Daily Mail.
Al-Nassr was on a three-game winless run before the game, and Ronaldo’s spot kick in the 68th minute helped put an end to the unwanted record. They currently sit second on the Saudi Pro League table, nine points behind runaway leaders Al-Hilal, who have a game in hand and are yet to lose a game in the league.
What happened in the game?
Ronaldo initially scored for Al-Nassr in the 42nd minute, but VAR ruled him offside after a lengthy review. Later, in the 57th minute, Al-Ahli celebrated when Roberto Firmino scored for the visitors, from a pass by Saint-Maximin, only for VAR to disallow the goal due to offside.

Despite Al Ahli’s strong start, hitting the crossbar through Demiral’s header off Mahrez’s corner, Al Nassr gained momentum in the second half. They dominated the latter part of the game, eventually securing victory with a penalty following a tackle by Ibanez on Al Najei. Al Nassr emerged victorious, clinching three points.
