During a chaotic scene after Fenerbahce’s 3-2 victory against Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig, Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel was involved in a brawl with a pitch invader.
After the game, which saw goals from ex-Manchester United star Fred and a late winner from Michy Batshuayi, fans from Trabzonspor rushed onto the pitch to confront Fenerbahce’s players. Security struggled to control the situation as more fans entered the field.
Bright Osayi beats up fan
Videos circulating on social media show Osayi-Samuel confronting one of the fans and throwing a punch, knocking the person down. In another clip, he is seen noticing the invaders while celebrating, then confronting them and exchanging punches while a security guard intervenes.
Osayi-Samuel had to be restrained by teammates and security as the situation intensified, with one fan seen wielding a corner flag as a weapon.

Bright Osayi’s move to Fernabache
Osayi-Samuel, aged 26, made the move to Fenerbahce from QPR in 2021, having started his career with Blackpool. He has since made 126 appearances for the Turkish club.

Fenerbahce’s win keeps them in second place, with a 30-point lead over third-placed Trabzonspor and just two points behind league leaders Galatasaray.
