In response, the Arsenal forward exuded pride in his creation, declaring, “It’s unbelievable. Mans been cooking. Mans been cooking.”
Further promoting the Peri-Peri Saka sauce, Nando’s featured the Arsenal midfielder in a promotional advert, showcasing his skills as a chef crafting the sauce.
In the advert, Bukayo passionately instructs the kitchen staff to add more garlic, tomato, and lemon, ensuring the perfect balance of flavors.
The climax sees Bukayo infusing a touch of heat by adding chili to the mix, elevating the sauce to new heights.
“I love it and can’t wait for everyone to try it,” Saka expressed. “I’ve been going to Nando’s since I was little so to have my own sauce is quite mad.
My family’s really important to me so I wanted to make sure they liked it, too. As soon as my Dad said he was a fan, I knew it was the one.”
With the sauce set to grace every Nando’s restaurant in the UK and Ireland for a limited period, fans eagerly anticipate the opportunity to savor it.
Meanwhile, Bukayo and Rice will continue to represent the Three Lions in upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Belgium on March 23 and 26, respectively.
Sports Buddy reports claim that the PERi-PERi Saka Sauce will be available in all Nando’s restaurants across the UK and Ireland for a limited time. In a short video by Nando’s, we see 22-year-old Saka working in the kitchen with chefs to create his sauce.
He collaborated with an Arsenal chef, bringing his football chemistry into cooking. The sauce’s bottle design was crafted by Reuben Dangoor, known for his work at Emirates Stadium.
