Fans are particularly incensed as VAR neglected to overturn the on-field decision made by referee Anthony Taylor, particularly in light of newly surfaced footage that provides additional perspective on the incide

Luis Diaz initially put Jurgen Klopp’s side ahead at Old Trafford, and they appeared to be firmly in control until Bruno Fernandes capitalized on an error from Jarell Quansah to equalize after halftime.

However, the momentum swung dramatically in the 67th minute when Kobbie Mainoo stole the spotlight, surprising everyone with a stunning curling effort that gave United a surprise lead.

In the dying moments of the game, Harvey Elliott seemed to be brought down by Aaron Wan-Bissaka inside the penalty area, prompting the referee to signal for a penalty.
