Moving forward, the FA Cup final will be held on the penultimate weekend of the Premier League season, a departure from its usual placement after the season’s conclusion. Additionally, all rounds of the FA Cup will now be played over the weekend.
Furthermore, the fifth round of the FA Cup, which had been scheduled in midweek over the past five seasons, will now also take place on the weekend.
These adjustments are accompanied by an agreement whereby the Premier League will allocate an additional £33m towards grassroots football initiatives.
