Boxing legend Mike Tyson visited his old stomping grounds, Brownsville, Brooklyn on Friday. The 57-year-old Tyson wasn’t alone, he was joined by fellow boxer Shannon Briggs.
Tyson and Briggs engage in a playful scuffle
The trip down memory lane for Tyson included a playful encounter with Briggs. Their friendly exchange escalated into a brief slap-boxing match with onlookers watching. The two boxing veterans exchanged playful swats before Briggs attempted a lighthearted takedown on Tyson. Laughter erupted as they ended their playful scuffle.
“Brownsville’s finest always ready for a brawl. Love this guy,” Tyson wrote alongside a video of the scuffle on his Instagram account. Briggs also shared another angle of the spat with the caption: “@miketyson and @cannon_briggs in Brownsville having a straightener in front of #AtlanticTowers !!!! @smoothedahustler the referee!!!! It’s on!!
