Nigerian football sensation Victor Osimhen found himself in the spotlight once again after scoring against his compatriot Maduka Okoye in Napoli’s draw against Udinese on Monday night.

Prior to the match, reports from Naples news outlet, Napoli Oniline, had emerged that the striker stood to earn a substantial bonus if he reached a milestone of 15 league goals for the season.
With the goal being his 15th for the season in the league, a bonus of €125k was unlocked, rightfully earned by the 25-year-old striker.

Despite Osimhen’s heroics, the drama was far from over. As the clock ticked towards full time, Udinese mounted a spirited comeback, which saw Nigerian striker Isaac Success equalize for the Little Zebras at stoppage time, leveling the score and dashing Napoli’s hopes of securing all three points.
While Osimhen basked in the glory of reaching his goal-scoring milestone, the late equalizer dealt a blow to Napoli’s aspirations for a crucial victory. The disappointment of conceding in the dying moments tempered the celebrations, leaving a bitter-sweet taste in the air.
With 15 league goals in 23 appearances, Osimhen has enjoyed a commendable season, however, he falls short of his remarkable tally from the previous campaign.
