Islington Council Prepares for Potential Arsenal Title Parade
Islington Council has released details for a possible Arsenal victory parade, should the Gunners secure the Premier League title this season.

Arsenal Top the Table, Title Race Heats Up
With just two games remaining in the season, Arsenal currently lead the Premier League table. Victory in both their remaining matches, coupled with dropped points from Manchester City, would secure the club’s first league title in two decades. Mikel Arteta’s men face Manchester United this coming Sunday before a final day clash against Everton.

Current champions Manchester City hold a game in hand over Arsenal, keeping the title race alive. Three wins from their remaining fixtures against Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United would see them retain their crown for a record-breaking fourth consecutive season.
Parade Route and Schedule Revealed in Email to Residents
Reports from The Athletic says an email sent to Islington residents from the council’s assistant director of civil protection outlines plans for a potential celebration: “We are writing to inform you of a potential Arsenal Football Club parade on Monday 20 May 2024 at 5pm.
In the event that Arsenal are successful in winning the Premier League, a bus parade would take place. It would start and finish at Emirates Stadium, going via the Town Hall on Upper Street, Islington.”
The open-top bus parade is scheduled for the day following the final game of the season. The route will begin at the Emirates Stadium at 5pm, returning to the ground by 7pm. At that point, fans can expect a celebratory appearance by Arteta’s team on a podium above the club shop until 8pm, marking the conclusion of the festivities.
This route mirrors the one taken by Arsene Wenger’s “Invincibles” after their successful Premier League title run in the 2003/04 season.
