Former Super Eagles player Tijani Babangida was in a serious car accident that tragically took the life of his brother Ibrahim.

Reports indicate that the accident occurred near Zaria while Babangida was traveling with his brother. According to reports, Tijani is in critical but stable condition. The cause of the accident is still unknown, but Tijani is currently receiving treatment at Shika Hospital in Zaria.

He played for domestic clubs like Stationery Stores and Katsina United during his career. Ibrahim was also teammates with the likes of Kanu Nwankwo and Wilson Oruma, who were part of the highly successful Nigeria U-17 team, according to reports.
