Manchester United Target Young Star Šeško and Experienced Striker Gyökeres
Manchester United appear to be prioritizing two strikers in their summer transfer window plans: Benjamin Šeško and Viktor Gyökeres.

Šeško: Promising Youngster with High Potential
Šeško, the younger of the two targets at 20 years old, is seen as a perfect fit for Manchester United by both manager Erik ten Hag and the club’s scouting department. His €42.7 million release clause makes him an attractive option financially as well. Negotiations are underway to potentially structure a deal around this figure. Manchester United will need to present an offer that aligns with Šeško’s ambitions and future development goals.

Šeško’s agent was recently spotted at Old Trafford in their narrow loss to title contenders Arsenal on Sunday May 12 2024 according to Fabrizio Romano, possibly to witness Manchester United in action firsthand. The Slovenian striker has already amassed 28 appearances and 11 goals for his national team, adding to his impressive tally of 17 goals and 2 assists with RB Leipzig this season.
Gyökeres: Experienced Option with Hefty Price Tag
The other target, Viktor Gyökeres, presents a more experienced option at striker. However, his €100 million release clause poses a significant financial hurdle for Manchester United.

It remains to be seen which striker, or if both, Manchester United will ultimately pursue in their quest to bolster their attacking options.
