Former Arsenal striker and club legend Ian Wright was seen struggling to hold back tears on Live TV, during his final appearance as a pundit on Match of the Day.
This emotional farewell marked the end of his over two-decade-long tenure on the iconic show, coinciding with the last match day of the season.
Wright had announced in December that he would be stepping down from his role on the iconic BBC show. The former striker first appeared on the highlights program in 1997 while he was still an active player.
To honor his contributions, the 60-year-old was presented with a special cap, akin to those awarded to England internationals, marking his time on the program.

”I am going to miss you guys, I really am,”Wright said, as per The Daily Mail.
”This has been the greatest for me. Match of the Day means the whole world to me, you guys don’t even know.
”That’s why I got my eight, nine, 10 (tattoo), my two guys I love so much on there, people laugh at me but I love you man,” he added.
