However, the Gunners currently seem to be in the lead for the £45 million striker, as the Slovenian international prefers a move to the Emirates after being embroiled in a transfer saga, as per The Sun.
Mikel Arteta is interested in a young striker who can grow and partner with Kai Havertz, who was a revelation for the Gunners in the just-concluded season.
Sesko, who turns 21 on Friday, would be a good fit, and his agent, Elvis Basanovic, has attended Arsenal games this season.
The 21-year-old striker is a member of the Slovenian Euro team, which will play England in the group stages of this summer’s competition in Germany. He is 6 feet, 5 inches tall and has a strong goal-scoring record. The Gunners have been monitoring and scouting him all season, although he is not the only name on their shortlist.
