After Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid was finally confirmed on Monday, Cristiano Ronaldo sent a message of support to the Frenchman.
The 25-year-old French forward joins the Spanish giants on a free transfer from PSG, signing a five-year contract worth £12.8 million a year after taxes.

Following Madrid’s official announcement, the World Cup winner took to Instagram, sharing a series of photos of himself as a child wearing Madrid gear and stating that his dream had come true.
”My turn to watch,” he wrote, ”Excited to see you light up the Bernabeu. #HalaMadrid.”
Within a few hours, Ronaldo’s remark received over 300,000 likes, showing that supporters were appreciating the respectful moment between the two guys.
Growing up, Mbappe idolised Ronaldo, with images of the Portuguese player adorning the walls of his bedroom.
The 25-year-old’s post on Instagram read: ‘A dream come true, so happy and proud to join the club of my dream @realmadrid.
‘Nobody can understand how excited I am right now. Can’t wait to see you, Madridistas, and thanks for your unbelievable support. Hala Madrid!,” he wrote, as reported by The Daily Mail.
