Ex-Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi has taken a shot at the Blues’ £89 million acquisition.
Mykhailo Mudryk joined Chelsea in the 2022 summer transfer window for a hefty amount worth £89 million but has failed to live up to the anticipation. The Ukrainian international only managed seven goals and provided only two assists in 41 appearances in all competitions.

Mikel, in a video posted on X, criticized the Chelsea winger for his dismal performance since his move to Stanford Bridge.
The ex-Chelsea midfielder did not hold back on his criticisms of Mudryk, as he believes the former Shakhter Donesk forward is talented and should be giving more than what he offers if he gets his act right.
“Mykhailo Mudryk needs to get his f*cking head right. He’s such a good player; pace, power, good on the ball,” Mikel Obi said, During an interview with ObionePodcast, as reported by CFCDaily on X.
