Phil Foden Enjoys Family Time Before Euro 2024
England ace Phil Foden enjoyed a relaxing break before the Euros by fishing with his kids on a yacht in Marbella. The 24-year-old Manchester City star took some downtime with his brother Logan before joining Gareth Southgate’s squad for final preparations in Germany.
Phil, who had a stellar season winning the Premiership and Player of the Year award, posed with Logan after reeling in a fish on their family break. His kids, Ronnie (five) and True (three), were delighted by the catch, while his pregnant girlfriend Rebecca Cooke watched from the back of the family’s rented yacht.
Fishing Fun in Marbella
In an Exclusive from The Sun, during their seaside stroll, Brit Isaac Rayton noticed Phil Foden spotting shoals of fish and decided to rent a luxury speedboat for a fishing adventure. Isaac, 18, from Preston, Lancs, shared, “Phil walked past and he and his son were staring and pointing at the fish in the water – so he rented a boat. I don’t think they went anywhere on it but he was fishing on it and I managed to film the moment he caught one of them but I think he caught three in total. There were so many people surrounding the boat.”
The £200,000-a-week star delighted onlookers as he fished from the yacht, with many people gathering around to watch the action.
Back to Business
After his family break, Phil returned to the UK and was seen at Tottenham Hotspur’s training ground with teammate Kyle Walker ahead of Friday’s friendly against Iceland at Wembley. Foden, who scored 24 times for Manchester City this season, is expected to be a key player for England at Euro 2024, which kicks off in Berlin on June 14.
Foden is currently being rested by Gareth Southgate but will rejoin the Three Lions squad in time for the send-off friendly against Iceland. Fans are eagerly anticipating his performance in the upcoming tournament, hoping his recent relaxation will translate into on-field success.
