Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has been rated as young player in the world by Fernabahce boss Jose Mourinho.
Bellingham, who is just 20 years old, has already made a name for himself in Carlo Ancelotti’s Madrid lineup.
In the summer of 2023, the England international made the decision to leave Borussia Dortmund and sign for Los Blancos.
The former Dortmund star helped Madrid to clinch their 15th Champions League trophy and also La Liga title, scoring a total of 23 goals and providing 13 assists.
Sports Buddy previously reported that Bellingham’s prospects of winning the Ballon d’Or could be boosted, as England are tipped favourites to win the competition. A solid performance in the tournament might be enough for him to become the first Englishman to win the Ballon d’Or since Michael Owen in 2001.
What Jose Mourinho said
Regarding Bellingham, Jose Mourinho stated (via @theMadridZone), “For me, Jude Bellingham is the best young player in the world, looking into the future and just imagining what he can become in a few years.”
Bellingham started his Euro campaign with an impressive performance against Serbia on Sunday, scoring the only goal to help England to a 1-0 win.
The England international is one of the major contenders for the Ballon d’Or following his impressive season for the Los Blancos.
