According to reports, Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has travelled to France to beg PSG to sign Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen has been the subject of transfer speculations in recent months with the likes of PSG monitoring his situation.
The Super Eagles star helped Napoli secure their first Scudetto in 33 years in the 2022/2023 season.
However, their performance last season has been called into questioning which has led to Osimhen looking to test new waters.

According to a report from GFNI, the senior management of Napoli took a plane to France in order to meet with Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president of PSG, and persuade him to trigger Osimhen’s release clause.
The 25-year-old is expected to leave the 2022/2023 winners this summer after becoming one of the most sought-after assets in European football during the previous 18 months.
PSG was earlier said to have cooled their interest, and Chelsea has also pulled out of the competition, citing concern his injuries
Italian side has put on Osimhen a substantial release clause estimated to be worth 130 million euros.
Laurentiis also reportedly travelled to dissuade them from pursuing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and go for Osimhen instead.
