Fans are rallying for England head coach Gareth Southgate to introduce a player who is believed to be the solution to the Three Lions’s lackluster attack in their next game.
Thursday night’s 1-1 draw against a strong Denmark team saw England struggle in their second Euro 2024 encounter, barely coming away with a point.
The 18th minute saw Harry Kane open his account for Euro 2024, but the Danes responded well at the conclusion of the first half, equalizing via a long-range effort by Morten Hjulmand.
Phil Foden struck the post in the second half from but Denmark had a late chance to win as England withered, the match ended in a draw in Frankfurt.
Fans react to Southgate’s Palmer Omission
Following the result, fans have expressed disatisfaction and are clamouring for Chelsea’s Cole Palmer to play in England’s next game against Slovenia.
Cole Palmer had an incredible 2023/2024 season with Chelsea, contributing a total of 42 goals and assists in all competitions.
