In an attempt to address the striker situation, sources suggest that Arsenal is nearing a deal with one of the world’s best prospects.

According to Team Talk, the Gunners and Viktor Gyokeres have been connected for a few months now, and in the last 48 hours, there have been a lot of stories concerning this deal.
Top European teams have taken notice of the forward after he scored 43 goals and created 15 assists in 50 games.
Arsenal are interested in the Sporting Lisbon striker as they want to bolster their striking corps.
According to Portuguese daily Leonino, as reported by Football London, Arsenal is apparently “very close to securing the signing of Viktor Gyokeres,” with just the money difficulties needing to be sorted to finalize the deal.
As teams watch the attacker, Sporting Lisbon has added an £86 million release clause to the Swede’s contract.
Gyokeres was on the team’s list of center-forwards, but nothing has transpired in contrast to what some sources have said.
