Atalanta are making moves to hijack the deal for Super Eagles star Fisayo Dele-Bashiru from the hands of Lazio.
Following his outstanding season with Hatayspor in the Turkish Super League, Dele-Bashiru has caught the attention of numerous big European clubs.
Lazio are thought to have signed an agreement with Hatayspor after leading the battle to sign the Super Eagles star.
However, the highly sought-after midfield player for the Super Eagles is reportedly being linked to Atalanta.
Atalanta to hijack Fisayo Dele-Bashiru deal
According to reports from TuttoAtalanta, Atalanta have declared their interest in signing Dele-Bashiru and could snatch the deal from Lazio
According to recent report, Dele-Bashiru had apparently passed his Lazio medicals, indicating that the transfer was almost final.
However, both clubs are yet to make an announcement on the deal which is worth seven million euros (₦11 billion).
This has paved way for Atalanta to making moves for the Nigerian and have placed him at the top of their shortlist.
Dele-Bashiru’s transfer fee has also risen after he made his competitive debut for the super Eagles this month.
The Lazio bound scored for Nigeria in their 1-1 draw against South Africa during the World Cup qualifying games.
