According to reports, Marcus Rashford has revealed to friends the club he would play for in the coming season, as uncertainty about his future at Manchester United looms.
Rashford, who had his best season to date at the club in 2022–23, struggled to score goals in the most recent campaign.
In 43 games across all competitions, the 26-year-old scored just eight goals, and rumors about his off-field actions have further damaged his reputation with the team.
Around the close of the season, there were rumors circulating that PSG had tried to recruit Rashford in the past and had him identified as a possible replacement for their outgoing star, Kylian Mbappe.
Marcus Rashford’s club next season revealed
However, Rashford is reportedly keen to stay at Old Trafford this summer, acknowledging that his performance was not impressive last season.
”Marcus knows one thing with Ten Hag and that is that he really rates him,” a source close to Rashford told The Sun.
”He knows he’s underperformed big time but has been telling his friends that he’s coming back strong next season.
”He knows a new manager could have come in and got rid of him. He doesn’t want to go anywhere and wants to get back to his best,” the source added.
