Contact has been made by Chelsea with Nottingham Forest over the transfer of the clubs’ most promising centre back Murillo. The Premier League debutant is a man with a bright future and his future is one of the most discussed matters this summer. From the information received from Brazil media it is clear that Chelsea have contacted Forest for the brazilian.
Forest’s Demands and Chelsea’s Offer
Some papers say that Forest wants £50 million for Murillo, but Chelsea has no intention to pay 50 million. They are, however, contemplating using cash plus players as incentives for making the above changes a reality. ”Often we hear voices of some officials, others just dropping hints. Well, I will speak to my manager about it. They were clubs from three different countries namely, England Italy and Germany” Murrilo said
Murillo’s Future
“If I am at Nottingham I will give 100% and if i leave, i hope they respect my decision as well.” Murillo explained. Another team that is said to have been in touch with the player is Atletico Madrid whose interest has been described as genuine. The £11 million signing from Corinthians in the summer of 2023, primarily deployed in the centre-back position, was actively involved in the team and featured in 32 out of the 38 matches across the Premier League stage.
Murillo is currently 25-years of age and signed a contract with Nottingham Forest that will last for four years. While the excitement of the transfer window continues, the fans eagerly wait if Chelsea or any other top European club would be willing to meet the demands of the Forest or if the young talent would continue playing for the forest at city ground next season.
