Antonio Conte, the manager of Napoli, is preparing for life without star player Victor Osimhen as they begin preparation for the new season.
Osimhen has been linked with a move away from Napoli with top clubs in Europe looking to sign the Super Eagles striker.
Given Antonio Conte’s recent remarks suggesting the Nigerian player has a deal with the team, Osimhen is still expected to leave Napoli this summer.
The upcoming season will see Conte lead Napoli and he has already been linked to a number of players to take Osimhen’s place.

Lukaku, who played on loan at AS Roma during the 2023–24 season, has been strongly linked to Napoli, which would mark a reunion with Conte.
The former United striker would be a less expensive option for Osimhen and someone Conte is familiar with.
The Standard has reported that Chelsea is prepared to let Lukaku leave this summer for a figure of £38 million.
Speaking about a potential reunion with Lukaku, Conte said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano, “He’s an excellent player, top player.
“There’s nothing else to say. You always hope to have a player like Romelu on your side and not against you.”
