Amidst the celebrations, a fan attempted to hoist an Indian flag on a pole but tragically lost his grip, plummeting over 20 feet to the ground. Onlookers, initially caught up in the joyous atmosphere, gasped in horror as the fan crashed into a platform before hitting the ground.

Emergency services swiftly responded to the incident, with the London Ambulance Service dispatching multiple units, including London’s Air Ambulance.
The injured fan was treated on-site for cuts and bruises before being transported as a priority to a major trauma center. Fortunately, despite the severity of the fall, reports indicated that he was stable and able to stand.
