Jude Bellingham may be suspended for England’s quaterfinals game after making an inappropriate gesture towards Slovakia during their victory.
The Three Lions came back from a one goal deficit to record victory against Slovakia, courtesy of Bellingham’s last minute overhead strike and captain Harry Kane’s header in the first minute of extra time.
After scoring England’s equalizer, Bellingham was seen making an x-rated gesture while celebrating.

However, the 21-year-old midfielder has come out to clarify the reason behind his celebration.
“An inside joke gesture towards some close friends who were at the game,” Bellingham said. Nothing but respect for how that Slovakia team played tonight,” he added.
Despite Bellingham’s justification, the Portuguese newspaper A Bola has disclosed that UEFA may penalize Bellingham with a one-match suspension.
