FIFA President Gianni Infantino has acknowledged Nigeria Premier Football League side Enugu Rangers as he congratulates them for on their league title.
Rangers International won the 2023–24 NPFL title, marking a record eighth league championship.
A 2-0 victory over Bendel Insurance on home soil sealed the title for the Enugu based team, before ending the season in style with an upset 2-1 victory away in Gombe.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has now congratulated the Flying Antelopes for their historic championship-winning season on social media.
On his Instagram story, Infantino, the head of the World Football Body since 2016, sent his congratulatory message.
“Congratulations Rangers International FC on being crowned 2023-24 champions of Nigeria,” Infantino wrote.
The head of FIFA shared numerous congratulatory messages on his Instagram story, including the Nigerian club side.
Rangers won their eight league championship for the first time since 2016, having beating second-placed Remo stars to the coveted title.
The Flying Antelopes will represent Nigeria in the forthcoming CAF Champions League after winning the NPFL, where they hope to have a successful campaign.
