A hefty price tag has been placed on a Super Eagles star, which would make him the club’s record sale after Manchester United attacker Rasmus Hojlund.
Super Eagles star to become club’s second most expensive sale

Atalanta who sold Hojlund to United last summer for a record fee of £72 million, have now placed a €70 million price tag on Ademola Lookman, following the Nigeria star’s impressive season, per CalcioNews24.
Lookman’s impressive 2023-2024 season

An outstanding season for both Atalanta and Nigeria in 2023–2024 has seen Lookman’s stock increase drastically.
The Super Eagles star scored a total of 20 goals and provided nine assists for both club and country in the just concluded season, including a historic hattrick in the UEFA Europa League to help Atalanta clinch their first ever European title.
Following his Europa League heroics, Lookman has attracted interests from some of the biggest European clubs including Juventus, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich.
However, the Europa league champions are in no haste to sell the 26-year-old with two years left on his contract, but would entertain offers within the region of the above stated price of €70 million.
Should Lookman depart Atalanta for that price, he will become the second most expensive sale in the history of the club, after Hojlund.
