Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United are in a battle to sign £30 million worth Netherland striker Brian Brobbey.
Arsenal and Manchester United’s interest in Brobbey
Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils’ manager, is considering a summer transfer for the 22-year-old Ajax attacker, whom he knows from his days at the Dutch team.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, also believes Brobbey can offer an alternative to the injury-prone Gabriel Jesus in the attacking role.
Numerous Italian teams are also interested in the former RB Leipzig player. However, it’s known that the player is dead intent on moving to the Premier League.
Brobbey, who scored 21 goals the previous season is a member of the Netherlands’ Euro squad and scored.
The 22-year-old striker will be facing England with the Dutch in the 2024 semifinal and has shown interest in moving the country. He has even singled out the two Premier clubs that are leading the race.

When asked which team he would pick, he once responded, “Manchester United,” according to reports.
Additionally, Brobbey readily disclosed which teams, in terms of a potential transfer, he most envies.
“Arsenal, I think that is a very nice club. If you look at that stadium. A very nice club,” Brobbey told NOS Jeugdjournaal.
“But that also applies to Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid. I have a contract until 2027. At the moment I am just with Ajax,” he added.
