With 11 goals this season for Palmeiras across all competitions, including two incredible goals in his last two Serie A games, the forward has been making an impression on many people throughout the footballing world.
Chelsea confirms Estevao
Chelsea made an official announcement in June that the young Brazilian would be joining the Blues from Palmeiras in a £28 million deal, which would see him move to the club April of the following year, when he becomes 18 years old.
Estevao’s wonder strike
Estevao stunned many on social media after scoring an incredible solo goal during Palmeiras’ 2-2 draw with Gremio last week.
The talented forward returned on Sunday to continue his streak of great goals against Bahia.
Heading into half-time, Estevao rose up to the occasion, breaking free on the counter to advance near the Bahia goal with incredible pace.
He sidestepped one opponent defender before sending a spectacular left-footed shot into the goal’s upper corner.
According to a Diego Paladini on X, the striker’s goal was so impressive that it left Bahia manager Rogerio Ceni looking disheartened on the touchline, with the manager shrugging his shoulders and saying: ”You can’t f***ing mark this guy.”
