Previous rumors in the Italian football community suggest that the Foxes are close to adding the Atalanta defender to their roster, with transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano confirming that Okoli has agreed personal terms with the English club on a deal in the region €15 million.

Okoli fueled rumors that he was close to signing with Leicester City when he shared a photo of the team’s training facility, Seagraves Training Center, on social media before swiftly deleting it.
One of the training ground’s walls, posted by Okoli bears the message, “Our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.”
Super Eagles’ interest in Okoli
The 21-year-old defender has 14 caps for Atalanta and is eligible to play for the Super Eagles.
According to reports, former national team head coach Jose Peseiro showed interest in the talented defender, stating that he would ask club teammate to persuade him on joining the Super Eagles.
