Former Chelsea legend William Gallas spoke on the ongoing Euro 2024 and had his take on the potential victor Sportsbudy.ng reports.
He said “taking everything into consideration, the ultimate champion of Euro 2024 will be determined in the semi-final between France and Spain”.
Spain eliminated France courtesy of goals from teenage sensation Lamine Yamal and highly sought after Olmo after France took an early lead through Randal Kolo Muani.
Spain will have the Three Lions as the hurdle to face after Olie Watkins stoppage time effort sent them through to the finals. Spain’s victory over England could confirm William Gallas prediction.

Speaking to Lord Ping, William Gallas had his take on the largest Failure of Euro 2024.
He said “I have to say this with respect: Cristiano Ronaldo has been the major disappointment of Euro 2024.
As much as a great career and good example this tournament was not in his favour, i wanted him to succeed in his last Euro, but it was not to be.
At 39, a lot was expected of Ronaldo from the society and other stakeholders. However, he failed to get a single goal and seemed to be under pressure most of the time.
Seeing him struggle was painful, especially knowing that he was a legend in his own right.
Other Stars Who Didn’t Shine
“Ronaldo was not the only star to disappoint when it mattered most, Kylian Mbappe and Harry Kane have also failed to deliver as expected”.
“These fans expected spectacular performance from these talents globally but they disappointed during this tournament. They probably could not handle the pressure and the high expectations placed on them” Gallas said.
