Dani Olmo has promised to extend Harry Kane’s trophy draught, when his Spanish side face the Three Lions of England in the Euro 2024 final.
Olmo scored a hattrick when his Leipzig side defeated Bayern Munich in the German Super Cup in August.
This defeat prevented Kane from lifting his first ever trophy, and the Spaniard is already preparing to prolong the former Tottenham striker’s bad luck by leading Spain to victory in Sunday’s Euro 2024 final in Berlin.
Kane looked almost certain to win his first ever silverware following his £100 million move from Spurs; however a 3-0 defeat to Leipzig, ensured his trophy-less streak continued.
Dani Olmo on extending Kane’s trophy draught

When asked how much he would like to deprive Kane again on Sunday, Olmo said, “A lot! Of course, it would be a dream to score a hat-trick in the final – and win it, of course.”
He continued, “I kept Harry Kane’s trophy curse going in Germany, and I’m not done yet,” per Centre goals on X.
Making history by being the first player to score three goals in a European Championship final would almost probably be enough to prevent Kane from winning his first title and award Olmo an incredible 15 club and national championship trophies.

After both scored in the semifinals—Kane from the penalty spot against the Netherlands and Olmo from a spectacular piece of skill against France—the two adversaries are now tied on three goals.
Meanwhile, Sports Buddy previously reported that Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane finds himself in the spotlight for all unpleasant reasons, with allegations surfacing that the former Tottenham striker has infected his “plague” to a fellow teammate.
