A significant update on the future of star striker Victor Osimhen has been revealed by Napoli boss Antonio Conte.
Despite doubts about his future at Napoli, Conte has stated that Osimhen needs to put in a lot of effort in training.
The 25-year-old striker has a €130 million release clause in his contract, but no European team is prepared to pay the enormous sum, giving little rooms for possibilities of staying in Italy past this window.

Speaking on Osimhen’s future, Conte stated he is unaware of the former Lille man’s next course of action, according to Fabrizio on X (formerly Twitter).
“I spoke to Victor and there are no changes in his situation. He’s a top player.”
Reports claim the Super Eagles striker prefers a move to the Premier League; however, no firm offers have been made as of now.
Napoli is currently looking into other options, such as the potential to bring Romelu Lukaku in for Osimhen in the event that a fair offer is made.
