While some lived up to the pre-tournament anticipation, others failed to impress with their performances.

As the competition draws to a close, the “worst XI” from the largest international competition of the summer has been announced by Spanish daily Marca, according to Give Me Sports.

Within the sticks is Croatia’s goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic, who conceded six goals in three games as The Checkered Ones exited the competition before the knockout stage.
The back line consists of Italian duo Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Gianluca Mancini, while Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen and Arsenal’s Oleksandr Zinchenko complete the defense.
John McGinn and Dominik Szboszlai, two Premier League stars, are included in this starting lineup’s midfield, with Milinković-Savić sitting right behind the pair in the team’s engine room.
