Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has named two Nigerian-born defenders, Habeeb Ogunneye and Maximillian Oyedele in United’s pre-season friendly match against Rangers.
It will be played on Saturday afternoon at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium.
Young Defenders Stepping Up
Both players featured in United’s 0-1 defeat to Rosenborg in their first friendly match of the summer.
Ogunneye took the place of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Oyedele entered the field replacing Casemiro at the half time interval.

The duo could partner with new signing Leny Yoro who is likely to make his first appearance in an official capacity after joining from Lille. Oyedele has made sixteen first-team appearances through lending at Altrincham and Forest Green Rovers.
