Chelsea has completed the signing of a young left-back Caleb Wiley from Atlanta United of MLS. Wiley has signed a six year deal, which has a possible extension of one year, at Stamford Bridge as reported on the club’s official website.

Wiley signed for academy with Atlanta at the young age of 11 and went up through the Atlanta club’s youth ranks. During the 2020 and 2021 campaigns, he played for Atlanta United 2 in the USL Championship.
Other Chelsea transfers as reported by Sportsbuddy, Chelsea have been encouraged to hijack West Ham’s attempt to sign their former player Frank Leboeuf, N’Golo Kante in a bid to bring back the France international to Stamford Bridge.

This season, he has featured in Atlanta for 23 matches in various competitions. Now, Wiley is in Paris with the U. S. Men’s Soccer Team participating in the preparation of the 2024 Olympic Games.
