Manchester United legends triumphed 9-5 against a talented Portsmouth side in an entertaining warm-up match.

The match was played at AFC Portchester’s OnSite Group Stadium with the presence of Champions League winner Wes Brown as a guest player and the match was attended by 1,000 spectators.

Among the other talents of that time were Wes Brown, a European champion in 1999 and 2008, le Martin, and Chris Eagles.

According to reports from The Mirror, the game also featured a tribute to Swansea legend Lee Trundle, who impressed the audience with his skills for United.

The friendly was held to raise funds for children’s cancer charity, Sophie’s Legacy.
