This is coming just a few days after Ofili declared she would not compete in the Olympic 100-meter race.
The 21-year-old explained that the reason was due to administrative failures by the Nigerian Olympic Committee (NOC) and the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN).
Now in the semifinals, Ofili will be looking to make it to the finals as Nigeria seek their first medal in this year’s Olympics.
