BREAKING: Messi set to join new club, agrees 3-year deal with one-time French league champions

According to reports, French winger Rayane Messi Tanfouri is set to join one-time League champions, Strasbourg.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on his accoount on X that the 17-year-old forward has agreed a three-year deal  with the one-time French league champions.

”Strasbourg have agreed deal to sign 17 year old talent Rayane Messi from Dijon.

”€1m including add-ons plus 10% sell-on clause agreed. Rayane, expected to sign a three-year deal,” Fabrizio wrote, on his account on X.

Reyane Messi is a 17-year-old winger who currently plays for French side Dijon.

Reyane was exposed to football at an early age. He joined local side FC Chaville in 2015, before moving to FC Versailles in 2017.

In 2020, he moved to the Clairefontaine academy, showing impressive technical abilities which made numerous French clubs attempt to sign him.

He however joined the youth academy of Dijon, signing a three-year contract.

Having impressed in the youth ranks, Reyane was promoted to Dijon’s reserves side, where he made his Championnat National 3 debut in August 2023, before making his first appearance for the senior first team on 5, April 2025 – becoming the youngest player to play for the club at 16 years old, 10 months and 13 days.

He is also the youngest goal scorer in Dijon’s history after scoring against Orléans, a week after his senior debut.
