You may get relegated if you sign him! Manchester United legend warns club against signing player

Former Manchester United star Paul Parker has warned that if his former team signs Burnley’s Sander Berge this summer, they risk being “relegated” from the Champions League berths.
United boss Erik Ten Hag is determined to sign a new midfielder before the transfer window closes, with the club “seriously considering” a move for the 26-year-old defensive midfielder.

The 20-time league champions have been informed that bringing Berge to Old Trafford will cost them approximately £30 million.
Former Manchester United star on Berge’s potential acquisition

Parker, who is not a fan of the deal, believes Berge is not a perfect fit for United, pointing out that his potential acquisition appears to be a downgrade rather than a valuable addition.
“Sander Berge’s been relegated twice now. I think with Sheffield United and with Burnley,” he said, per The Sun.
He continued, “Twice on the bounce. He’s not exactly a good luck charm, is he? United don’t want to be relegated again from the Champions League spots.
“It could just be the media pushing that one, as they love throwing mud at Manchester United to see how many people bite.
“But Man Utd have to be looking at bringing in at least one more midfielder because it doesn’t seem like they’ll get any money back on Casemiro as it doesn’t appear he’s moving to the Middle-East.”
