AFC Bournemouth has reached an agreement to sign Julian Araujo from FC Barcelona in a deal that is believed to be around €10 million according to BarcaUniversal.
His move comes as part of Barcelona’s efforts to generate revenue through outgoing transfers following their recent acquisition of Dani Olmo.

Details of the Transfer
Araujo, 22, moved to the Spanish giants from the LA Galaxy in January 2023 but could not feature for half a year due to administrative issues.
Last season he was transferred to UD Las Palmas where he did well under Garcia Pimienta.
Although Araujo demonstrated promising performances, the new manager Hansi Flick left Araujo out of his plans for the new season preferring Alex Valle as a makeshift right-back.
Financial Boost for Barcelona

The deal with Bournemouth has financial benefits for the Catalan giants as they seek to sort out issues to do with their Fair Play and to register new players.
However, the club requires to balance their books and more players are likely to leave including Lenglet, Vitor Roque, and/or Ansu Fati.
Although the Spanish club have been heavily linked with Nico Williams this window as a top transfer target with fans even ready to support the movement as reported by Sportsbuddy.
This is the start of the outgoing deals that are expected from Barcelona.
