Everton are subject to yet another financial violation following their 10-point deduction from the previous season for violating a Premier League regulation.
In April, Everton was also docked two points for exceeding their budget for the 2022–23 campaign.
They may probably face more penalties as the Premier League now claims that they broke their PSR rules by an additional £6.5 million for the 2022–2023 campaign.
Points deduction looms for Everton

According to the Premier League, there was a far worse breach in 2022–2023 because interest payments for the stadium were not included.
This is an addition to the £16 million overspend that they have already been penalized for by deducting points for interest payments associated with building their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.
The Premier League’s argument that interest payments on their losses should be increased by £17 million was denied by an impartial panel that calculated the second point deduction.
However, it did declare that it would reevaluate payments totaling £6.5 million since they might point to another infraction.
SunSport claims that the commission has not yet told the Toffees or the League when they will reach a decision, despite their persistent demands for a response.
The Premier League argues that the disputed £6.5 million should be included in the club’s expenses because it was used for continuing running costs.
But Everton are determined to have it removed because stadium costs are not factored into PSR calculations.
Despite the accusations made against them, Everton are certain that they won’t be charged with PSR in the upcoming campaign.
