Jamie Carragher has revealed his top six for the new Premier League season, which has sparked outrage from fans.
After much anticipation, the new Premier League season begins on Friday.
Manchester City will be looking to win the championship five times in a row, while Arsenal, fresh off a second-place finish, will be aiming to win the league for the first time since 2004, and going into the season strong after recording a 2-0 victory over Lyon in the Emirates Cup.
Meanwhile, the top-four battle is expected to be intense this season.

Unsurprisingly, Carragher has predicted that Pep Guardiola’s City will win the league once more. He also thinks Arsenal will place second for the third consecutive year.
Carragher believes his former team, Liverpool, currently led by Arne Slot, will finish in third place, while Tottenham will place fourth, with Manchester United coming in fifth.
Even though Aston Villa finished in the top four last season, the former centre-back believes Unai Emery’s team will finish sixth this time around.

Meanwhile, another supporter asserted that United could win the league this season. The fan wrote, ”Manchester United is winning the league hands down this season and I have a reason for saying this, Our 1-2 passes will be the end of many teams this season.”
