May’s 2-0 victory over Wolves marked his last match in charge of the Merseyside club before Arne Slot took the reins from him.

The German has been having a great summer, visiting a number of events, including Taylor Swift concerts and the Euro 2024 final, in addition to building a new property in Majorca.

Klopp will manage a testimonial match for his former club Dortmund.

But now he is ready to hit the field again as he will manage Borussia Dortmund, his former club, in a farewell match for Lukasz Piszczek and Jakub Blaszczykowski, the players he left with the club, according to reports from Daily Mail.

The testimonial, which will take place on September 7, was revealed in a hilarious video on Dortmund’s Instagram.

The German manager is revered as a hero at Dortmund. In his seven years in charge of the club, Klopp won two consecutive Bundesliga titles.

He also won two DFL Supercups and the DFB Pokal three times before departing for Liverpool in 2015.

With the upcoming testimonial game in Dortmund, fans will have a chance to see Jürgen Klopp once again on the sidelines, though in a less stressful environment.

His highly anticipated return has been fueled by rumors linking him to various managerial positions, including the previously vacant England national team head coach role, now filled by interim manager Lee Carsley.

Just a few weeks ago, there were speculations about Klopp returning to management. However, these turned out to be unfounded, as people had mistakenly identified Shakhtar Donetsk’s physiotherapist as the former Liverpool boss.
