Manchester United has been dealt a major blow as they prepare for their Premier League encounter with Liverpool at Old Trafford this weekend.
The Red Devils remain active in the market noting that they have signed Matthijs De Ligt, Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, and Noussair Mazraoui.
However, they have also witnessed the departure of various players such as Facundo Pellistri, Will Fish, Scott McTominay, Donny van de Beek, Hannibal Mejbri, and Willy Kambwala.
Manuel Ugarte’s Absence Confirmed
Manchester United came to the transfer activity at top gear but they incurred a hitch through the loss of Manuel Ugarte.
The club envisaged to have Ugarte available for selection ahead of the Liverpool clash, however, latest updates indicate that he will not be able to make the team for Sunday’s match due to him being unregistered.
Jacobs Ben stated that there is no pressure to meet the set deadline since Ugarte is not ready to start or even make a notable contribution to the game.
United’s Urgency to Bounce Back
United will now have to look forward to the next match and maybe overcome the sting of their recent disappointing loss to Brighton before hosting arch rivals, Liverpool at their fortress, Old Trafford.
